I'm Julie Lukosaitis. Born and rooted in Wisconsin, my journey with art began as a young child watching my parents' and grandmother's hands create. My lampwork experience started over 20 years ago and continues to grow. In the early days, aside from a full-time job I worked evenings teaching glass bead making at The Vinery, a stained glass studio. I have studied under many famous glass artists from all over the world and continue to learn and take classes that expand my skills. 

 

In 2014, I started my own business, traveling and teaching glass classes with my mobile torch studio. I enjoy teaching glass art classes, meeting new people, and making new friends. 

 

​What makes me unique as a lampwork and flameworking instructor is my 29 years of working in public education, teaching special needs children.  I understand the importance of reaching multiple learning intelligences and I know how to build that into my glass classes to reach all learners.
